The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business processes, stakeholder management, and technical documentation. They should be able to work closely with development, design, and product teams to ensure the successful execution of business strategies.

Job Description

Product & Market Research:

  • Conduct detailed research on products, market trends, and competitors to identify new opportunities.
  • Perform SWOT analysis and prepare reports on market positioning and strategy.
  • Evaluate customer needs, pain points, and emerging industry trends.

Requirement Gathering & Documentation:

  • Engage with stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to gather business requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Software Requirement Specifications (SRS), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), and Feature Traceability Charts (FTC).
  • Document use cases, workflows, user stories, acceptance criteria, and wireframes.

Process & Workflow Design:

  • Develop workflow diagrams, process flow charts, and data flow diagrams for better understanding.
  • Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements using business process re-engineering.

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Work with stakeholders, product managers, designers, and developers to ensure clear communication of business objectives.
  • Act as a liaison between business and technical teams to ensure requirements are met.
  • Provide functional support to development teams and assist in defining test cases.

Product Roadmap & Strategy:

  • Contribute to product planning, feature prioritization, and roadmap development.
  • Assist in defining KPIs and success metrics for product performance evaluation.

Testing & Quality Assurance:

  • Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure business requirements are properly implemented.
  • Collaborate with QA teams for test case validation and functional testing.

Technical Skills

Documentation & Analysis Tools:

  • Jira, Confluence, Trello, Lucidchart, Microsoft Visio, Balsamiq, Figma, Axure

Business Process Modeling:

  • BPMN, UML Diagrams, Wireframing, Prototyping

Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Excel (Pivot Tables, Macros), Power BI, Tableau

Project Management & Collaboration Tools:

  • Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Docs
  • Basic SQL & Data Queries (Preferred)

Preferred Qualification

  • Experience in Agile & Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to translate business needs into functional specifications.
  • Understanding of API documentation and integration workflows.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps practices.

Education

  • Masters/bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent work experience.
